Everyone is pretty familiar with Graphic Design. If you’ve ever needed a poster or business card designed, well you probably worked with a Graphic Designer (or at least someone who was familiar with the tools to create what was needed). You might have even created something yourself. But how does that tie into your “brand identity”? In fact, many people are not that familiar with the concept of “branding”.
What is Branding?
Your company’s logo, your first email to a potential customer, even a printed brochure, are all pieces that make up your company image, or “brand identity”. These pieces are often taken for granted, but you’d be surprised at how much they influence a potential customer’s decision as to whether or not they want to work with you. All the ways you present your company – in person, on-line, and in print – make up your brand.
From a graphic design perspective, branding includes the design elements such as your colour scheme, your font selections, and any images you associate with your company. It also includes how these elements are combined to represent your company on your website, business cards, social media, and more.
Why Choose Green Mountain Creative?
I often refer to Green Mountain Creative as “we” (see my About page), but it’s primarily “me” running the show. What that means is I can whole-heartedly say that I know design, and can really help you find that design that represents your company. I also understand HOW to help you with your brand identity, and will ensure all those pieces that make up yours are consistent and recognizable (and amazing). There are a lot of graphic designers out there, and a lot of companies who offer “off the shelf” business card designs and other services, but I have a great knack for understanding PEOPLE, and can truly find a way to turn your vision into reality.
Even if you’re not in the market for a complete “brand overhaul”, I can still help you with a number of other graphic design services (à la carte), including:
- Logo design
- Business cards
- Email signature, letterhead, forms, templates – basically all flavours of company documents
- Posters, brochures, flyers, newsletters
- Social media covers & banners
- Style guides
- Document organization “best practices”
- General consulting services
